This Is The South-Documentary Project

This is the South is a documentary photography project I have been working on to honor the truth of the love and humanity of this part of the country. Having been raised in a very liberal and priveledged part of massachusetts, I must admit that the South was always portryated as a scary and unsafe place. This series is not only emphasizing just how much true beauty and love this region of the country has. It is also a letter from me, to the beautiful city of New Orleans, and the people of the south, in which I try to say, I am sorry, and I was wrong. I am honored to call this beautiful city my home, and I will do anything to honor the stories of the incredible individuals that have filled it with love and hope.
